Our approach to the event
We designed two days of activities with a strong emotional and practical impact, based on constructive competition and creative storytelling. This approach allowed teams to overcome hierarchical and departmental barriers through shared goals and the use of imagination.
Description
We organized two days of team building
Day 1: kart building and race (Innovation and Compression)
- Activity: participants were divided into teams for a creative engineering challenge. The task was to build a working kart using only recycled materials (mainly cardboard).
- Team identity: each team created a distinctive name for their kart and decorated it with their team colors.
- The race: the activity culminated in a real speed and endurance race between the self-built karts, which tested the effectiveness of their design and their collaboration in the race.
Day 2: corporate filmmaking
- Activity: the teams transformed themselves into film crews to shoot an original short film in the center of the city of Catania. The goal was to tell a story related to corporate values or the team itself.
- Gala evening: the videos were screened during the final gala evening in a real awards ceremony. This moment provided a strong sense of accomplishment and publicly celebrated the creative achievements of all the teams.
