We organized a customized gastronomic treasure hunt themed “Pechino Express” in the heart of Catania. The activity involved participants, divided into teams, in a dynamic journey through the historic center and local markets. Some of the challenges included:
- Skill and Speed Challenge (Cooking): A competition to make the most Sicilian cannoli in the shortest time possible, testing coordination and precision.
- Sensory Challenge (Street Food): A challenge to taste and identify at least five ingredients hidden in the typical dish of Sarde a Beccafico.
- Negotiation Challenge (Market): Tasks requiring teams to purchase ingredients at the city market using cunning and communication skills.
The format guaranteed a highly engaging, fun experience and a true immersion in Sicilian culture.
